Today is my 7 months anniversary in NZ!
Feels like just last week when I posted my entry of me being here for half a year.
I am at Queenstown now, one of the most beautiful towns in NZ.
It has been 7 months, but the sheer beauty of New Zealand still amazes me every day that I am here.
Like yesterday when I was at Lake Pukaki and Aoraki Village at Mount Cook, the view was really beyond this world…no words can ever describe how beautiful it was, and no photos can do its justice either…seriously!
It is amazing how beautiful this country is, particularly the south island. It is also amazing that how the beauty of this place has not been jeopardize by commercialization.
I would imagine that if we put the beautiful Aoraki Village at somewhere else in the world, it would be jam-packed by tourists from all over the world and there will also be many touristic developments of the area…and all these would have easily cost the place its simplicity and sheer beauty.
When I was at Mount Cook and Lake Pukaki, I was only among the few tourists who were there. Other than the four or five of us, the place was quite deserted, and so we get to enjoy the place much better.
I even did skydiving this afternoon, which was freaking awesome!!!
These were all amazing experiences that I would never ever forget, and these experiences made me realize how small I am in this big big world I am living in…
I am leaving NZ next Wednesday, for now at least! I shall be back someday in the future, and I shall remember how beautiful this country is, and how this working holiday experience made me the man I am today.
Bungy jumping tomorrow! Woohoo~ Pray for a good weather tomorrow…
